In 2010, while the recession was burying limousine companies one by one, Maria did the unthinkable — she started one. No safety net. No blueprint. Just a relentless belief that Atlanta deserved better, and that her daughters deserved to watch their mother build something of her own.
For six years she lived two lives — corporate executive by day, limousine owner by night. Then came New Year's Day, 2016. Coffee with her closest friends. Goals shared out loud. And the quiet, terrifying truth she could no longer outrun: it was time to choose herself. Weeks later she walked away from a 19-year career and never looked back.
